Wholemeal French-style coarse Flour is ideal for making whole wheat, high fiber artisan bread, and baguettes. This type of flour is best suited for all your whole wheat baking needs. This flour gives a brown textured loaf with a crisp crust. It is high in mineral & protein content which gives nutrition, texture, and flavor of wholemeal (including wheat bran & wheat germ) to everything that you bake with it. T150 is equivalent to type 2 Italian Flour, Euro 1150 Flour type, and Wholemeal Bread Flour and sometimes also referred to as “Irish Style Flour.

Coarse in texture than white flour, Wholemeal Flour is the finely ground meal of the whole wheat berries. Bran and germ are retained during the process of making, higher in fiber, and more nutritious than white flour. French Style T150 has about 1.25% to 1.50% mineral content. T150 Wholemeal flour has about 12.0% to 13.5% Protein content.
The T150 refers to the amount of mineral content that is left after burning the flour i.e. T150 has about 1.25% To 1.50% minerals content

I have used it in small amounts in pie crusts and babka along with refined flour. The flour adds a 'wholesomeness' a bit of a bite and color to the baked product.

I havent tried this flour exclusively for any recipe. I Will post an update later when i bake with this flour alone. TIll now, I am very happy with this flour. It has enough protein to hold the strength

I used it for sourdough bread n it was a disaster. The loaf did not ferment well, was extremely slack, and did not rise

Great bread flour finally. I have baked more than 20 wholemeal breads without mixing/adding any other flour. All of them came up very well. FEEDBACK: The RECIPE provided behind packet is INCOMPLETE. There is no mention of oil/butter and water/milk quantity to be used. Please rectify your packaging.
